Love Ventura is all about coming together to inspire our community through connection, giving, and service. We're excited to collaborate with people of all ages and backgrounds to make a real difference across Ventura.
Join Us for a Special Project at The River Community Church!
This opportunity allows us to lend a hand to The River Community Church, a place that’s home to life-changing programs like The City Center, Tender Life Maternity Home, and a weekly food pantry. With your help, we’ll be refreshing the facility through painting, wall washing, wood staining, and window cleaning. By volunteering, you're not just sprucing up a building – you're supporting the vital work these programs do for families in need.
Project Details:
- Open to ages 10+
- Tasks include painting, washing, staining, and window cleaning
- This is a great opportunity for families, groups, and individuals to serve together
We strongly encourage everyone to start the day at our Volunteer Rally! This gathering is a fantastic way to connect with others, fuel up with a provided breakfast, and get energized for the day ahead. Plus, all volunteers will receive a free T-shirt!
Schedule:
- Volunteer Rally: Plaza Park, 8:00–9:45 AM
- Projects: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
