Lift Up the Word ~ Light Up the World
Lift up the Word – Light up the World (2 Samuel 22:29-31) is the theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer. The River is opening up the Chapel (located on Kalorama St.) from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Come spend time either quietly or in agreement with others to cover the following areas: Church, Family, Education, Business and Workplace, Military, Government and the Arts, Entertainment and Media. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us ~ “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Welcoming God into these seven areas in our nation can turn it around. Come and be a part of an America that can be saved!
